Day 1 LONDON-PARIS, FRANCE. Leave in the early morning from your London joining hotel (see your travel documents) and head through the lush English countryside to the Channel port, where you board your ferry for the Continent. Here you’ll be met by your Tour Director and luxury coach. Drive through the French countryside by way of the fast autoroute, arriving in Paris in time to enjoy your first evening here.
Day 2 PARIS. One full day to explore the city that’s known throughout the world for its fashions, art and museums, delicious food, and joie de vivre. Included sightseeing with a local expert of many of the bestknown Parisian sights: La Sorbonne, Arc de Triomphe, Opéra, Madeleine, the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramid near the Louvre, the Invalides, and Champs Elysées. Day 3 PARIS-LAKE LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND. Fascinating, ever-changing scenery today. Views of Fontainebleau Forest, the wine-growing area of Burgundy, then prosperous farms and tidy half-timbered villages as you head through the Alpine heart of Switzerland to picture-book Lake Lucerne. (B,D)
Day 4 LUCERNE. Enjoy one of Switzerland’s finest cities, nestled amid its snow-capped Alps, surrounded by its lake, and embellished by the clear mountain waters of the River Reuss. Your sightseeing focuses on the impressive city walls, a covered wooden bridge, ornate patrician houses lining cobblestone streets, and the Lion Monument—a masterful stone sculpture in honor of the heroic Swiss Guard of Louis XVI. A grand selection of optional activities completes the day: a cable car ride to the 10,000-foot summit of Mount Titlis, a cruise on the fjord-like lake, a typical Swiss folklore evening, and, of course, there is time to shop for that very Swiss watch. Day 5 LAKE LUCERNE-LUGANO-VENICE AREA, ITALY. More wonderful Alpine scenery as you drive into the mountain ranges that surround the massive St. Gotthard. Once through its great tunnel, you’ll start your scenic descent into the warmer and sunnier ambiance of the Canton Ticino. Stop in beautiful Lugano and take a stroll along the lakeside promenade. In the afternoon, cross into Italy and drive through the Lombardy plain onto Verona for a stop to see Juliet’s balcony. Overnight in the Venice area. (B)
Day 6 VENICE. It’s really more like a marvelous film set than a real live city, with criss-crossing canals, gondolas and water buses, arched bridges, palaces and little quiet piazzas. The included tour starts with a boat ride and is followed by a visit to St. Mark’s Basilica and a chance to watch Venetian glassblowers fashion their delicate objects as they did centuries ago. Don’t miss out on the optional gondola trip, gliding along the picturesque canals with a local troubadour to serenade you. (B,D)
Day 7 VENICE AREA-FLORENCE AREA. Start the day by journeying south across the Apennines into the gentle and hilly countryside of Tuscany, to Florence for an included walking tour with a Local Guide. (B,D)
Day 8 FLORENCE AREA-PISA-ROME. Traffic is banned in part of the historic center so visitors can wander at leisure and admire this Renaissance gem and city of the Medicis. Later, stop in Pisa to see the famed Square of Miracles and view the Leaning Tower. Then journey south to Rome. Tonight an optional evening drive through the city, a floodlit spectacular of shimmering fountains, magnificent churches and piazzas, followed by dinner. (B)
Day 9 ROME. Included sightseeing with Local Guide starts in St. Peter’s Square, followed by a visit to the Roman Forum and the mighty Colosseum. (B)

Day 6 INNSBRUCK-BRENNER PASS-VENICE AREA, ITALY. Journey south into Italy by way of the majestic “Europa Bridge” and the Brenner Pass. Arrive in Venice where the included tour with Local Guide starts with a boat ride along the Giudecca Canal to Piazza San Marco, followed by most of the city’s highlights. Also visit a typical Venetian glassblowing factory. (B,D)
Day 7 VENICE AREA-LAKE LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND. Stop in Verona to see the legendary balcony of Juliet. Over the Swiss border begin the climb to the St. Gotthard tunnel and descend to the breathtaking beauty of Lake Lucerne. (B,D)
Day 8 LAKE LUCERNE-DOLE, FRANCE. Your sightseeing this morning focuses on the main highlights of the city. Also time for an optional excursion to the Stanserhorn. In the afternoon journey into France for overnight in the charming town of Dole. (B,D)
Day 9 DOLE-PARIS. This morning leave Dole and travel via the autoroute to Paris, for an afternoon’s included sightseeing with a local expert, to see many of the best-known Parisian sights. (B)

The medieval Grand’ Place with its 15th-century Gothic Town Hall and historic guild houses is a perfect setting for today’s flower sellers. St. Michael’s Cathedral, the Law Courts, the ornate Royal Palace, and the earthy Mannekin Pis fountain contrast with the curving glass European Union headquarters and 1958’s, Atomium. Sightseeing is optional. In the afternoon drive to The Hague for an orientation tour, and then on to the Amsterdam area. (B,D)
Day 5 AMSTERDAM AREA-THE RHINELAND, GERMANY. A morning to enjoy Amsterdam, delightful city of a thousand bridges. Day 03: Early morning drive to Alleppey to enjoy the magic of Kumarakom by going on a Houseboat (Kettuvallam) cruise across the backwaters. Spend the next 24 hours in your floating villa. Day 04 : After a sumptuous breakfast checkout of the Houseboat at Alleppey. Proceed to Thekkady to have a wonderful night in the famous wildlife sanctuary. Afternoon move for an enchanting boating in the lake Periyar to watch the wildlife from close quarters. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 05 : Today your schedule includes plantation visit and trekking in the Jungle also available (Optional). Evening go for a spice shopping at the local market.Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Proceed to Madurai the Temple city of South India. The ancient city of Madurai, some 2600 years old is laid out in the banks of river Vaigai as a lotus flower with the Meenakshi temple in the centre. After lunch go for a city tour visiting - Meenakshi temple, King Tirumala's Palace, Great Tank and Gandhi Museum. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : After breakfast proceed to Thanjavur (Tanjore). Tanjore once the capital of Chola Kings, has the Brahadeswara temple(or the big temple of God).The temple tower rises to a height of 15mts from a square base of 29 mts and then tapers off, making a total of 66mts.Later back to Madurai for your overnight stay.
Day 08: After breakfast proceed to Rameshwaram ( 180Km – 5Hrs) - the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. Legend has it that Lord Rama sent Hanuman to Mount Kailash to bring a Lingam for worship when he set foot after defeating Ravana. As Hanuman did not return when the auspicious hour was approaching, Sita made a sand Lingam so that worship could be performed in time, which is where the present day Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands close to sea on the eastern side of the island. One of the twelve Jyotirlingam shrines is also well known for its magnificent corridors and the massive sculptured pillars lining them. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Madurai for dinner. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09 : After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari – the land’s end of India where the water of the Arabian Sea , the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean meet. An important pilgrim centre of India, it is famous for the Amman Temples – a symbol of unity and sanctity – dedicated to the virgin Goddess, Kanya Kumari. To its South – East lies the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial , a blend of all the architectural styles of India. Evening enjoy the beautiful sun set. Overnight at hotel in Kanyakumari.
Day 10 : After watching sunrise at Kanyakumari proceed to Trivandrum/ Kovalam. Optional: enroute local sightseeing of Trivandrum which includes Museum complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science & Technology museum, Veli Tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach. Later proceed to Kovalam Beach. Overnight at Kovalam Beach hotel.
Day 11 : Full day at leisure at beach. (Optional: Go for a Ayurvedic message). Overnight at Kovalam Beach hotel.
